New features on the Kalmar C45 give our customers even more options:

The KC45 high-speed rotary inserter has become even better! Kalmar MailPro have developed some new features to give greater flexibility and even more features. This allows you as the customer even faster production rates, along with a bigger range of facilities.

MORE OPTIONS - The Kalmar MailPro software has been modified to offer more operating options. Servo drive motors are a feature the machine has incorporated from its launch, but by listening to customer's requests and utilising features afforded only by servo drives, Kalmar have added some very useful features to the software to increase the production rate of the machine.

IN-LINE FOLDING - The KC45 rotary stations can now be retrofitted with an in-line folder. This allows the machine to feed sheets of paper (up to A4 in size) down to A5 or letter fold. Fitting the folder is a simple operation and an alternative to a channel system when no barcode or character reading is required. SHUTTLE FEEDER -  The KC45 now offers a shuttle feeder (or book feeder) station. Now booklets and other inserts that are unsuitable for rotary feeders can be processed through the KC45. See it in action or view the brochure by using the link to the right.

MAILSORTING CONVEYOR - Combined with a reading system, Kalmar can now offer a mailsort break conveyor belt. By stepping the envelopes on the belt, mailsort breaks can be easily identified. Operation is therefore simplified and the number of staff required to run a mailsorted job is reduced.

QUICK-RELEASE ENVELOPE TRACK - Another feature to assist the operator is the quick-release envelope track. This gives operators better access to the envelopes within the track, again a time-saving feature.
